FAQs
Booking & Timing
Do I need to reserve my date in advance?
Yes. I recommend reserving your date as soon as possible to ensure availability. I only accept a limited number of bouquets each month so that each piece receives the time and care it deserves.
How far in advance should I book?
Most clients book 3–4 months before their wedding date. Early booking guarantees your spot on my calendar.
How do I reserve my wedding date?
You can reserve your date by sending me an email with your wedding date. I will confirm whether or not your date is available. Once confirmed, you will receive a welcome letter, along with a questionnaire on your preservation desires.
Sending Your Flowers
How soon after my wedding do you need my bouquet?
For the best results, flowers should be delivered or shipped within 1–3 days after your wedding. Fresh flowers preserve much better and help ensure the most beautiful results when creating your wedding flower preservation keepsake.
Can I ship my flowers to you?
Yes! Shipping your flowers is not a problem. I will provide detailed instructions on how to properly package your flowers to keep them fresh during transit, and ready for bouquet preservation.
Can I drop off my bouquet locally?
Yes, local drop-off may be available by appointment.
The Preservation Process
How are my flowers preserved?
Your flowers are carefully dried and then preserved in high-quality resin to create a timeless keepsake. The drying process can take 4-5 weeks.
Will my flowers look exactly the same as my wedding day?
Flowers naturally change during the drying process. Some colors may deepen, lighten, or become more muted, which is a normal and beautiful part of preserving wedding flowers.
Can you preserve my entire bouquet?
I select the most suitable flowers from your bouquet to create the best possible design within your chosen piece.
Customization
Can I choose the design layout?
Yes! I design each piece individually and can incorporate your preferences where possible while ensuring the final piece is balanced and visually beautiful.
Timeline
How long does the preservation process take?
Floral preservation is a detailed process that typically takes 4–6 months from the time your flowers are received.
Why does it take so long?
Floral preservation is a detailed process that takes time to ensure your flowers are properly dried and preserved before they are placed in resin. Fresh flowers contain a lot of natural moisture, and they must dry slowly over several weeks to prevent mold, browning, or damage.
Once the flowers are fully dried, they are carefully arranged and preserved in layers of resin. Each resin layer must cure before the next is added, which can take several days per layer. After the final pour, the piece also needs time to fully cure, be sanded, polished, and finished.
Because of these steps—and the care taken with each bouquet—the full process typically takes 4–6 months to complete.
Will I receive updates during the process?
Yes, I will keep you informed during key stages of the preservation process. And as always, if you have questions along the way, don’t hesitate to ask.
Pricing & Payment
How much does floral preservation cost?
Pricing varies depending on the keepsake piece you choose. Full pricing is available on my website.
Do you offer payment plans?
Some clients choose to secure their date with a deposit and complete the remaining payment before work begins. There are also payment options at checkout.
Caring for Your Keepsake
How should I care for my resin piece?
Keep your piece out of direct sunlight and extreme heat. Clean gently with a soft cloth.
Will resin yellow over time?
I use high-quality, UV-resistant resin. To maintain its clarity, keep it out of direct sunlight and avoid extreme heat, as these conditions can cause yellowing. But all resin can naturally change slightly over many years.
Policies
What if my flowers arrive damaged?
While I take great care during preservation, flowers are delicate and results depend on their condition when received.
Can I cancel my booking?
Deposits are typically non-refundable because your date is reserved exclusively for you.
